Frequently Asked Questions
Our founder Greg answers many common questions.
How long does the entire admissions process take?
From your initial call to starting treatment, the process can happen very quickly. Your clinical assessment occurs on the same day or the next day after contact, and your medical director’s evaluation takes place within 48 hours of admission. Most clients complete the admissions process and begin treatment within 2 to 3 days of their initial contact.
Can I start treatment immediately?
We work to accommodate urgent treatment needs as quickly as possible. After completing your clinical assessment with our clinical supervisor and admission coordinator, and pending insurance verification, you can typically begin treatment within 48 hours.
What if I don't have insurance?
Please call us to discuss your situation. We’re committed to making treatment accessible and can explore all available financial options with you, including payment plans and potential assistance programs. Don’t let financial concerns prevent you from seeking help.
Can my family be involved in the admissions process?
Absolutely. We strongly encourage family involvement throughout the admissions process and treatment. Family members are welcome to participate in the assessment, and we offer monthly family meetings, family therapy, and family support groups as part of our comprehensive approach to recovery.
What programs do you offer?
We offer three levels of outpatient care: PHP (Partial Hospitalization/Day Treatment), running Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM; IOP (Intensive Outpatient), with morning, afternoon, and evening options 3-5 days a week; and OP (Outpatient), with weekly group and individual sessions. Our clinical team will recommend the appropriate level based on your assessment.
Do you treat mental health conditions in addition to addiction?
Yes. We provide dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions. We’re also certified to treat gambling addiction—a rare specialization and the only facility offering this in the Nashoba Valley region. We also provide support for concerns related to eating disorders.
Do you offer evening programs?
Yes. Our IOP program includes evening sessions from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, allowing clients to maintain their work or school commitments while receiving intensive treatment.
What treatment approaches do you use?
We utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Smart Recovery, and Dharma Recovery, as well as relapse prevention strategies. We also integrate holistic therapies, including sound bowls, Reiki, breath work, and yoga. Our approach is rooted in a family-style, welcoming philosophy that emphasizes a partnership between clients and staff.
Will I have the same therapist throughout treatment?
Yes. You’ll be assigned a licensed clinical therapist who will work with you throughout your treatment journey. You’ll also have a dedicated case manager for ongoing support with external coordination needs.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Your privacy is fully protected under HIPAA and Massachusetts state confidentiality laws. All calls, assessments, and treatment details remain completely confidential. We take your trust seriously and ensure that your personal information is never shared without your written consent.
